The 24th Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards that took place last Sunday saw a drastic change where the presenters were made up of almost an all-female lineup. Happening in the midst of the #MeToo and Time’s Up movements, the awards show was hosted by Kristen Bell and women of movies and television such as Lupita Nyong’o, Emma Stone and Mandy Moore took center stage in presenting\u00a0this year’s best acting performances awards to the winners.<\/p>\n

A respectable figure in American cinema, Morgan Freeman was honoured with a Lifetime Achievement Award while “Three Billboards Outside Ebbing” snagged\u00a0three out of four wins\u00a0for the film category.<\/p>\n
