In conjunction with World Sight Day<\/strong>, Bausch and\u00a0 Lomb Malaysia<\/strong> handed over a cheque worth RM8,880<\/strong> to Malaysian Association for the Blind (MAB)<\/strong> at a cheque presentation ceremony yesterday\u00a0at its headquarters. The fund was raised through its social media campaign “Care for Your Eyes”<\/strong>, which ran from August 11 to September 30, 2015, with aimed at creating awareness of eye health and eye care.<\/p>\n

The “Care for Your Eyes”<\/strong> campaign encouraged Facebook users to shoot and post a short video of themselves doing an eye exercise to help stretch the eye muscles, and tag three friends of them to do the same. Bausch and Lomb Malaysia<\/strong> pledged to donate RM5 to MAB<\/strong> for each video posted.<\/p>\n

The campaign was a successful one and gained\u00a0supports from a number of local celebrities such as Malaysia Top Model Amber Chia<\/em>, Miss Chinese Cosmos SEA 2012 1st runner up Kim Low<\/em>,\u00a0Celebrity TV Hosts Belinda Chee<\/em> and Nadia Heng<\/em>, Actress Atikah Suhaime<\/em>, Malaysian singers Diandra Arjunaidi<\/em> and Joyce Chu<\/em>, Radio Announcers Cassey Soo<\/em> and Vivian Liu<\/em>.<\/p>\n
