Christian Louboutin and Disney have reunited once again to create four pairs of shoe and a shoe art piece – the “Space Shoe” – to celebrate\u00a0the release of\u00a0Star Wars: The Last Jedi.<\/p>\n

Having\u00a0reinterpreted “Cinderella” glass slipper in 2012 and a “Maleficent” shoe in 2014,\u00a0Louboutin who is also a fan of the sci-fi franchise, have\u00a0epitomized\u00a0the spirit of four of the film’s heroines in four\u00a0galactic\u00a0shoes: Rey<\/strong> (Daisy Ridley), Vice Admiral Amilyn Holdo<\/strong> (Laura Dern), Captain Phasma<\/strong> (Gwendoline Christie) and Rose Tico<\/strong> (Kelly Marie Tran).<\/p>\n

Each pair was signed by Louboutin himself as well as the actress who portrayed the character the style was created for and will be auctioned off on December 20th with a portion of the proceeds benefitting Starlight Childrens Foundation. The breathtaking shoes\u00a0made its debut at the Los Angeles premiere of the latest episode.<\/p>\n

In the art piece Louboutin worked his magic through six-inch Ballerina Ultima heel which will be featured alongside a hyper-realistic holographic installation in collaboration with\u00a0Industrial Light and Magic (the visual effects studio founded by George Lucas).<\/p>\n

\u201cDisney and Star Wars\u00a0are very, very strong at developing characters,\u201d said\u00a0Louboutin. \u201cI have the same thing when I\u2019m designing shoes. I often think of a character, so in a way for me, it totally makes sense to work around the character because that\u2019s basically what I do.\u201d While the\u00a0styles were reinterpreted based on the characters of the film, Louboutin made sure to also design\u00a0them around the actressess.<\/p>\n

Rey<\/h4>\n
