Finger tattoos are gaining popularity, but do you know that it is actually one of the worst body parts to get inked?<\/p>\n

Due to the density of skin on fingers, fingers are not good quality skin for tattoos. The colours\u00a0are not\u00a0as bright.\u00a0The tattoo lines tend to be a bit fuzzy as fingers don’t hold ink well. Therefore the lines are less clean and crisp as they would be tattooing your wrist for example.<\/p>\n

Hence the finger may not be the right place to put that intricate design you’ve been dreaming of. Having tattoos on this area of the body could smudge and wear out over a short period of time, as little as a couple of years.<\/p>\n

That doesn\u2019t mean you should shut down the idea of having tattoos on your finger. If applied properly finger tattoos can last a long time.<\/p>\n

Simple designs are the best for finger tattoos. For instance, line art goes over well and letters look good. Avoid images and designs that are tiny that the ink breaks apart or bleeds and you can’t tell what it is.<\/p>\n

Regardless of which part of your body you get inked, if you decide you want a finger tattoo, expect to get it touched up fairly regularly, and it is going to cost you in the long run.<\/p>\n

So to summarise,\u00a0you should think carefully before getting a finger tattoo. They are small, cute, and symbolic but there\u00a0are also reasons why you should not have it. Good luck to you if you’re planning to get your first finger tattoo.<\/p>\n
