\"Santhawan<\/a>Santhawan Boonratana<\/strong>, a 26 years old\u00a0marketing graduate who\u00a0is\u00a0an online entrepreneur, model and\u00a0interpreter, will be representing Malaysia\u00a0at Miss Grand International (MGI) 2015<\/strong> in Bangkok, Thailand. She has been handpicked by\u00a0the founder and president of Miss Grand International Organization<\/strong>, Mr. Nawat Itsaragrisil as Malaysia\u2019s delegate to the grand final this year.<\/p>\n

\u201cI am truly blessed to be given this one in a life time chance where I always wanted to contribute for my country. I will definitely take this exposure and experience as a platform to improve my interpersonal skill but above all to be at my very best as I carry Malaysia\u2019s name,\u201d said\u00a0Santha<\/strong>, who\u00a0possess a mix of Thai and Punjabi’s parental background. \u00a0She\u00a0is\u00a0<\/strong>currently undergoing a hectic preparation for the grand finals which includes catwalk and interview training, a strict diet and gym training regime.<\/p>\n

\"Santhawan<\/a>Santha<\/strong> will be flying off to Bangkok on October 4 and begin her quest for the crown with plenty of activities organized for the delegates, including charitable activities to promote MGI<\/strong>\u2019s motto \u2018Stop The War\u2019<\/strong> campaign.\u00a0She\u00a0is expected to compete with more than 100 delegates from around the world.\u00a0The 3rd MGI winner will bring home USD40,000. Other subsidiary titles include Best in Evening Gown, Best in Swimsuit, Best National Costume, Miss Popular Vote and Best Social Media.<\/p>\n

Malaysians can show their support to Santha<\/strong> by voting her as Miss Popular Vote for MGI 2015<\/strong> where the winner for this award will advance to Top 10. Miss Grand App is available on both iOS and Android.<\/p>\n

MGI<\/strong> is an annual pageant running for the third year and expected to be a star studded event broadcast live around the world. Over 1.5 billion people have tuned in to watch MGI<\/strong> coronation night on television last year including live streaming on YouTube.\u00a0MGI<\/strong> was recently added into the World Grand Slam Beauty Pageant along with Miss Universe, Miss World, Miss International and Miss Supranational by leading and renowned online beauty pagent portal Global Beauties.<\/p>\n
