The ’90s are making a comeback in the fashion scene and we can’t help but feel nostalgic at the fashion flashback.\u00a0Swedish brand, MONKI just\u00a0jumped on the throwback train with its AW17 Denim Collection Campaign – “Straight Up Denim Gold”. In the name of love for denim, fashion and planet, MONKI takes\u00a0a nod to the ’90s with a statement-making collection made purely out of organic cotton. The brand’s favourite pieces are given stylish new updates like\u00a0acid wash, patches and stripes with contract pockets.<\/p>\n

A shero fit Kimono is upgraded with modern twist in acid wash and hot new black. Next up is the oversize, cropped Taiki which comes in tantalizing hues of\u00a0light blue, block red and solid black with trendy patches. The highlight, however, is the\u00a0Moluna, a MONKI classic\u00a0with high-waisted, straight-legged vintage tribute in two styles –\u00a0one with contrast side stripes, and in a style with reworked contrast pockets.<\/p>\n

Adding onto the lineup are\u00a0numerous\u00a0sharp tops to add some flare to everybody\u2019s new favourite pairs – tops with puffed sleeves, classic denim jackets both short and long with statement fleece details, as well as a sweater and a short puffer jacket in gold.
