During the 72nd<\/sup> Venice International Film Festival, <\/strong>on September 9,\u00a0Jaeger-LeCoultre<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0has honored\u00a0Brian de Palma<\/strong> in the Sala Grande (Palazzo del Cinema)\u00a0for the\u00a0Jaeger-LeCoultre Glory to the Filmmaker Award<\/strong>.\u00a0Brian Russell De Palma<\/strong> is an American film director and screenwriter, as well as part of the New Hollywood wave of film-making. In a career spanning over 40 years, he is best known for his suspense, psychological thriller and crime films.<\/p>\n

\"Jaeger-LeCoultre<\/a>The Jaeger-LeCoultre Glory to the Filmmaker Award<\/strong> is the annual prize established by Jaeger-LeCoultre<\/a><\/strong> in association with the Venice International Film Festival\u00a0to pay tribute to personalities who have contributed to creating and bringing life to the art of film-making.<\/p>\n

On the closing night of the festival, Jaeger-LeCoultre<\/strong>\u00a0also supported the talents and presented its iconic Reverso watch\u00a0to Lorenzo Vigas<\/strong>, Golden Lion winner for the Best Film<\/em>, as well as to Valeria Golino<\/strong>, Coppa Volpi winner for Best Actress<\/em>, and Fabrice Luchini<\/strong>, Coppa Volpi winner for Best Actor<\/em>.<\/p>\n
