The historical city of Malacca has been picked by\u00a0Lonely Planet\u2019s in-house Asia experts as one of the\u00a0best destinations to visit in Asia in the year ahead! This historical city is ranked at 9th place\u00a0in its 2017 Best in Asia list which was revealed\u00a0last month.<\/p>\n

The\u00a0\u201cblissfully well-connected\u201d yet \u201cunderrated and relatively crowd-free\u201d Gansu, China is ranked number-one destination; while the urban scene South of Tokyo, Japan is in second place; and Northern Kerala, India, \u201cemerging slowly like a butterfly from a chrysalis\u201d, comes in at number three.<\/p>\n

Lonely Planet\u2019s Best in Asia 2017<\/strong><\/h3>\n

1. Gansu, China<\/strong><\/p>\n
