With\u00a0more than 20 makeup and\u00a0skincare products made with Tarte Cosmetics’ new of the Sea\u2122 complex made of a proprietary blend of algae and marine flower extracts that helps reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles while smoothing and softening your skin. Always cruelty-free and\u00a0skin-friendly as it’s free from parabens, mineral oil, phthalates, triclosan, sodium lauryl sulphate, and gluten.<\/p>\n

\"#Scenes:1. Can you tell us more about the Rainforest of the Sea range?<\/h4>\n

If I can summarize the collection in a few words, it’s high-performance and low maintenance because it gives a lot of benefits to your skin and it’s easy to use. The products are made with beneficial ingredients from the sea which protects your skin from environmental aggressors so even if it’s makeup, it still provides vitamins to your skin as you’re wearing them. The collection is made with a mermaid theme in mind and is mostly purple because it’s our founder, Maureen Kelly’s favourite colour.<\/p>\n

2. The Water Foundation is one of the most popular products from the range, how do you pick the right shade for your skin?<\/h4>\n

It’s so important to match your foundation to your skin’s undertone. At Tarte Cosmetics, we have foundations that come in 4 undertones such as Beige (Pink), Neutral (Yellow and pink), Sand (True Golden Yellow), and Honey (Peachy Yellow with a hint of Olive). One way to check your skin’s undertone is to look at your veins, if your veins look blue, you’re more of a cool pink undertone, if your veins are green, then you have a yellow undertone, or if you have both green and blue veins, you have a neutral undertone.<\/p>\n
