As we previously featured, a modelling competition \u2013\u00a0The Face of Malaysia 2017 <\/strong>which is jointly organised by our home-grown supermodel\u00a0Amber Chia & Plan 7 Production, and fully supported by the Korea Model Association,\u00a0<\/strong>has\u00a0been kicked off with an\u00a0open casting call\u00a0on April 22, 2017, with aims to look for the next face of Malaysia that embodies not just the qualities to be a supermodel, but possesses the talent and passion to be in the entertainment spotlight as well.<\/p>\n

After the live audition held on April 22, the judges include Amber Chia, Raulen Lee (International Director of the Korea Model Association), Dr. Anjhula Mya Singh Bias (International Supermodel & Psychologist), CK Wai (Founder of Studio V4 Photography), Javson Lee (Creative Director of Studio V4) and Azuki (Fashion Stylist) have selected 18 finalists (11 female and 7 male) out of over 300 registrations.\u00a0These 18 finalists will be competing for the title of the Next Celebrity Supermodel at the grand finale which will be held at the Mega Star Arena Kuala Lumpur on May 13, 2017.<\/p>\n

During the grand finale, 2 celebrity awards will be given to the top male and female celebrities of the year, namely the Female Star Model of the Year and the Make Star Model of the Year, and both them will represent Malaysia to receive the Malaysia Star Models of the Year Award at the 2017 Asia Model Festival Awards in Seoul in June this year.<\/p>\n
