It has more potassium than the bananas<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Yes, many of us eat the banana because of the high potassium level. Potassium is a mineral that your body needs to function correctly such as to promote healthy skin, reduce the formation of cellulite, and to offset some of the sodium\u2019s harmful effects on body pressure. In fact, avocado is very high in potassium, with a 100g serving containing 14% compared to 10% in bananas.<\/p>\n<p><strong>2. It helps reduces symptoms of arthritis<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Arthritis is a painful inflammation and stiffness of the joints. It should be treated well although arthritis is very common. Avocado oil is used to suppress and treat the symptoms in people who suffering from arthritis.<\/p>\n<p><strong>3. Avocado contains a lot of fibre<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Apart from potassium, fibre is another nutrient found in avocado. About 25% of the fibre in avocado is soluble, while 75% is insoluble. Soluble fibre is soft and sticky, and absorbs water to form a gel-like substance inside the digestive system; while insoluble fibre doesn\u2019t dissolve in water, it adds bulk to waste in the digestive system which helps to prevent constipation.<\/p>\n<p><strong>4. Acts as an eye protection helper<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Antioxidants are also high in avocado. In addition, it also helps to absorb other antioxidants from other foods. Lutein and Zeaxanthin are antioxidants that available in avocado that lower the risk of cataracts.<\/p>\n<p><strong>5. Beneficial for women (Especially if you are pregnant!)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>According to study, avocado is a great choice as it contains a great amount of folic acid. Folic acid is important for preventing birth defects.
