After eight intensive months of auditions and challenges in Beauty Bound Season Two by luxury skincare brand SK-II, Fairuz Nadia Anuar of Malaysia or better known as @inner.maverick<\/a> on her social media channels has risen above hundreds of hopefuls and has been crowned by Chiara Ferragni, Global Fashion Icon & Global Judge Beauty Bound Season Two as Asia\u2019s next big beauty name to watch out for. Culminating in Okinawa, Japan, the final battle saw nine aspiring beauty creators pit themselves against each other in a series of heart-thumping challenges set in the wild.<\/p>\n

BEAUTY BOUND SEASON TWO: THE JOURNEY TO VICTORY<\/h4>\n

Following a successful premiere in 2015, this season\u2019s Beauty Bound breaks new ground with a first of its kind beauty web reality series following the journey of 64 aspiring digital creators as they chase their dreams to be the region\u2019s next beauty vlogging sensation. Involving judges and mentors from varied niches beyond the beauty industry while creating a community of beauty creators for beauty creators, the series has amassed over 13 million views globally to date just on Youtube.<\/p>\n

The series is part of the brand\u2019s Change Destiny campaign, which is about challenging the belief that destiny is set at birth and inspire and empower women to overcome limitations placed on them, be it in skin or in life, embrace their individuality and create their own destiny. Through Beauty Bound, SK-II hopes to give back and foster authentic relationship with the creator community by providing opportunities for emerging beauty creators to hone their skills, build their influence and ultimately, change their destiny and archive their dreams.<\/p>\n

To be named the winner of Beauty Bound, contestants had to embark on their final challenge\u2014an epic beauty adventure in the depths of the Okinawan jungle in Japan. Contestants had to complete a variety of beauty social challenges with the brand\u2019s iconic Facial Treatment Essence and create a 60 second #FaceTheWild video inspired by the films of SK-II\u2019s latest campaign\u2014SK-II Face The Wild | Face the Camera Extreme Expedition series with National Geographic<\/a><\/p>\n

\"BeautyAfter 48 hours jam-packed with wild adventures, beauty experiments and hectic editing, the nine finalists presented their final video to the global panel of judges headed by Chiara Ferragni, Global Fashion Icon.<\/p>\n

After considerable deliberation, Fairuz Nadia Anuar of Malaysia was unanimously named the winner of Beauty Bound Season 2 for her deep beauty knowledge, creation of great social media content and effortless showmanship. Watch her winning video here.<\/p>\n
