Ever since its creation in 2006, the L\u2019OCCITANE Foundation has been committed to projects that promote women\u2019s leadership in Burkina Faso, the land of shea butter. About 17,000 Burkinabe women gather shea nuts and transform them into a rich, intensely creamy fair trade-approved butter that we all love. This year, L\u2019OCCITANE celebrates these heroes by featuring their craft in the Shea Violet Solidarity Balm, specially-created to raise funds for gender equality and take a stand in supporting women\u2019s leadership.<\/p>\n

Bright and bold in African wax prints, the tin features designs that decorate the clothes of Burkinabe women, this multipurpose balm contains 98% fair trade shea butter, and is accentuated with a powdery violet scent.<\/p>\n

This multi-purpose balm is perfect for dry skin that needs an intense nourishment, or to\u00a0swipe onto your lips to keep them soft and smooth.<\/p>\n

100% of profits* from the sales of the Shea Violet Solidarity Balm will be donated towards women\u2019s leadership to support the UN Women Fund for Gender Equality.<\/p>\n
