Swiss luxury watch manufacturer IWC Schaffhausen revisits the classic design of the 1980s and presents the 2017 Da Vinci collection, once again with its sleek and iconic round case.<\/p>\n

The collection which consists of three models, will be presented at the upcoming Salon International de la Haute Horlogerie at Geneva.<\/p>\n

The Da Vinci Automatic 36\u00a0<\/strong>is powered by the self-winding IWC-manufactured Calibre 35111 offering a 42-hour power reserve. The blue sunburst dial with Arabic numerals includes a date display at 6 o\u2019clock.<\/p>\n

\"iwc-automatic-36-001\"The case back is engraved with Leonardo Da Vinci’s “Flower of Life”, a geometrical figure composed of multiple evenly-spaced, overlapping circles, that are arranged so that they form a flower-like pattern with a sixfold symmetry like a hexagon. It will be offered with a choice of Santoni alligator-leather strap or matching metal bracelet.<\/p>\n

\"36-back\"Crafted from red gold and also engraved\u00a0with the “Flower of Life” on the back, the Da Vinci Automatic Moon Phase 36\u00a0<\/b>will be offered to a Santoni alligator-leather strap, features a\u00a0silvered dial with Arabic numerals and moon phase indicator at 12 o’clock.<\/p>\n

\"moonphase-back\"The Da Vinci Automatic<\/strong> with its 40-millimetre diameter was designed for both men and women as a classicwatch with three hands and features a discreet, elegant design. This reference ideally reflects the watch family\u2019s design signature \u2013 a round case with distinctive horns.<\/p>\n

\"36-lifestyle\"Moreover, the minimalist dial with its large Arabic figures and lancet-shaped hands perfectly matches the purist design of the Da Vinci Automatic. One model comes with a silver-plated dial and a black Santoni leather strap, the other with a slate-coloured dial and stainlesssteel bracelet.<\/p>\n
