Chinese smartphone maker vivo has revealed a new selfie-centric smartphone \u2013 V5 in Malaysia.<\/p>\n

With a 20MP front-facing front camera with softlight for selfies, V5 clicks decent images to keep selfie lovers happy. The device also features sophisticated photography software that allow users to capture their perfect moment even in the dark.<\/p>\n

In terms of specifications, V5 features a 5.5-inch 720p display. Powered by 1.5 GHz octa-core, the vivo 5 has a 4GB RAM, 32GB of expandable storage, a 13MP rear camera, as well as a 3,000mAh battery. The device is set to run on vivo\u2019s Funtouch OS 2.6 based on Android 6.0 Marshmallow and will also house a fingerprint sensor for a lightning-fast unlocking mode in just 0.2 seconds, iconic vivo AK4376 Hi-Fi music function, Smart Split 2.0 making multi-tasking a breeze and Eye Protection Mode that filters out blue light to protect user\u2019s vision.<\/p>\n

Coincide with the launch of V5, this is also the brand\u2019s first-ever appointment of an ambassador in Malaysia – Malaysia\u2019s iconic singer-songwriter, Dato\u2019 Siti Nurhaliza.<\/p>\n
