Since Park Shin Hye<\/a>\u00a0was in Malaysia last month to officially launch Mamonde<\/a> in Malaysia, we’re even more excited to try out Mamonde’s products in hopes of having glowy skin ala Park Shin Hye. Seeing that she shared about the Mamonde Cover Powder Cushion SPF 50+ \/ PA +++ on her Instagram, we had to try it for ourselves!<\/p>\n

Mamonde Cover Powder Cushion SPF 50+ \/ PA +++ is just like most cushions in the market, it has whitening, anti-wrinkle and UV protection properties. Since Mamonde’s cushion is made from the Amore Pacific group, you can insert refills from brands under the same roof such as Hera, Sulwhasoo and Iope too. The cushion comes with one refill as well so it’s a nice steal.<\/p>\n

Cushion Casing<\/h3>\n

The cover has the shape of a peach to resemble one of its ingredients, peach blossom water which hydrates your skin.<\/p>\n

\"MamondeShade & Coverage<\/h3>\n

The shade I used was #21 Peach Beige which suited my skin tone just right. The shade was just slightly pinkish which helped to brighten up and tone down the yellow undertones of my skin. It also contains concealer and primer ingredients, and just like its name, it did provide a decent amount of coverage.<\/p>\n

The puff didn’t absorb much of the product but it could be because it’s still new.<\/p>\n

From here, you can see that after only applying the cushion on the left side of my face, it did help to cover my dark circles and redness around the sides of my nose. Plus, my skin is a tinge brighter too compared to the right side where I have not applied the cushion.<\/p>\n

Do You Need To Set It With Powder?<\/h3>\n

It does settle to a semi-matte finish so if you apply a light layer, you won’t need to set it with powder. But this cushion can look cakey if you put too much so it’s best to put a light layer and conceal the rest before setting with powder. While testing this out, I did not apply any powder and it lasted for about 6 hours on my skin before it started to oxidize.<\/p>\n

\"MamondeAll in all, this cushion is a great bargain for its quality (semi-matte and a decent coverage) and it’s one that I’ll be keeping close to me whenever I want to have bright, glowing skin like Park Shin Hye.<\/p>\n
