One thing we love about travelling during the\u00a0autumn\/winter season, we get to wear more knits and layers without sweating buckets. Now with the new COS store launching in November, we’ll have more choices for winter wear since they’re bringing in their Autumn Winter 2016 collection!<\/p>\n

Inspired by the intense colours found in the backdrop of Lynette Yiadom Boakye\u2019s paintings, the palette for this season’s collection is composed of rich, dark navy, intense blue, ochre, burgundy and forest green.<\/p>\n

\"COSCOS AW 2016 collection is all about exaggeration, with high turtlenecks and elongated sleeves while geometric cuts provide a multifunctional and defined feel.\u00a0Layering is also a core part of this collection where you can mix & match the pieces effortlessly thanks to it’s versatile colours.<\/p>\n

For the women collection, you can find eclectic and sometimes unusual elements present throughout the collection are inspired by the 100 chairs in 100 days project by Italian designer Martino Gamper. Silk chiffon is bonded with wool panels to create a contrasted top and when paired with sharp two-pleat wool trousers, materials meet in unexpected ways.<\/p>\n

The colours and textures found in this season\u2019s menswear collection are inspired by the work of Berlin-based artist Lev Khesin. The rich and enveloping compositions found in Khesin\u2019s work are reflected in both the collection\u2019s intensity of colour and layered silhouettes. Classic tailoring has been updated to form a soft and cocooning wrap silhouette made from textured wool. A technical wool high-neck top in petrol is paired with a cropped trouser to form a classic yet modern look, finished with a textured wool navy melange coat with a soft shoulder.<\/p>\n

Ladies, you can go for the soft leather shopper in a casual crinkled leather with accents of aluminium which you can also double as a clutch. While for men, the brown oxford shoe one of the centrepieces of the collection.<\/p>\n
