The Hunt for Asia\u2019s next top beauty creator returns with a first of its kind reality web series<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

<\/i><\/b>Starting this August, SK-II once again offers emerging beauty creators across Asia a chance to take their beauty and digital content skills to the next level. Beauty Bound Season 2<\/strong>, the search for the world\u2019s next top beauty creator, opens the door to a world of opportunities to creators in participating countries.<\/p>\n

Following a successful premiere in 2015, Beauty Bound Season 2 breaks new ground incorporating a first of its kind<\/b> beauty web reality series<\/b> involving judges and mentors from varied niches beyond the beauty industry<\/b> while creating a community of beauty creators for beauty creators.<\/b><\/p>\n

SEASON TWO RETURNS WITH A UNIQUE WEB REALITY SERIES<\/b><\/p>\n

This year, the search for the next top beauty creator in the region hits the road through a first of its kind beauty web reality series\u00a0where\u00a0netizens are given the unique opportunity of following the journey of aspiring digital creators as they chase their dreams to be the region\u2019s next beauty vlogging sensation.<\/p>\n

The Beauty Bound web series will feature the trials and triumphs of the shortlisted beauty creators, from the moment they submit their first entry video to their experience in the national semi-finals, an intensive 2-day boot camp (called Beauty Base), to the grand finale.<\/p>\n

The web series, which will be released on YouTube<\/a> and shared on various platforms in participating countries in February 2017, will create new opportunities for these aspiring beauty creators to increase their exposure in the region.<\/p>\n

HEADLINED BY INDUSTRY TRAILBLAZERS BEYOND BEAUTY<\/b><\/p>\n

This year\u2019s Beauty Bound will place contestants under the wing of top creators and industry experts from varied niches beyond the beauty industry to include leading online film makers, celebrities, and other members of the creative industry. This holistic approach will help hone their skills to be a successful content creator.<\/p>\n

Joining the Malaysia\u2019s panel of judge-mentors this year are Beauty Blogger and YouTuber Tashy<\/em> from Beauty with Tashy, actress and social media influencer Sharifah Sakinah<\/em> and Digital Illustrator and Ola Bola<\/i> actress Marianne Tan<\/em>. The global judge panel for this year will be unveiled soon.<\/p>\n

The winner of this year\u2019s Beauty Bound will receive an invitation into the exclusive SK-II Global Beauty Circle, which includes an all-expenses paid trip\u00a0to an SK-II global event, networking and collaboration opportunities with international top beauty creators,\u00a0 an exclusive 1 week exchange program in the U.S hosted by industry experts like StyleHaul, the largest global style community of content creators, in addition to professional video production equipment and a year\u2019s worth of SK-II products.<\/p>\n

BUILDING A COMMUNITY OF BEAUTY CREATORS FOR BEAUTY CREATORS<\/b><\/p>\n

In addition to the web series, this year\u2019s Beauty Bound will also include the establishment of an online community through a dedicated Facebook page<\/a>.\u00a0 This creates unique on- and offline learning opportunities for members, via exclusive tutorials, training content, and interaction with some of the world\u2019s biggest creators, industry experts from SK-II and digital giants such as YouTube.<\/p>\n

\nResidency:<\/b> Must be legally residing in the participating countries where Beauty Base is happening
\nObligations:<\/b> Should not have any existing contracts with competing skincare brands
\nTravel Documents:<\/b> Must have a valid passport during Finale dates
\nAudience:<\/b> No more than 50,000 subscribers\/followers on your main social channel<\/p>\n

  1. In no longer than 3 minutes, tell us who you are and your dream<\/li>\n
  2. MUST include following hashtags in your video: #skii #sk2 #changedestiny #beautybound<\/li>\n
  3. MUST include #changedestiny in the title of your video<\/li>\n
  4. MUST upload video to your personal YouTube, Facebook or Instagram channel and make it public<\/li>\n
