Shell is celebrating its 125 years\u00a0this year!\u00a0To kick off its 125th<\/sup> anniversary in Malaysia, Shell unveiled Celebrating 125 Years<\/strong><\/em>, an art project involving famous artists including Datuk Lat, Cheeming Boey, Sabek, Yap Hanzhen, Amey Sheikh Ali, Caryn Koh, Thomas Powell, <\/em>and Dmojo<\/em>.<\/p>\n

The eight artists will develop 15 murals at selected Shell stations nationwide, with at least one mural located in each state. The art captures the artists\u2019 own interpretation of progress and the Malaysian pioneering spirit, with some illustrating familiar Malaysian scenes and landmarks, while others showcasing nature and Malaysian society.<\/p>\n

Last month, the company embarked on a 3-day charity drive, #Pump123 in conjunction with the Hari Raya Aidilfitri celebrations, whereby 1 sen (RM0.01)\u00a0was donated for every\u00a01 litre\u00a0of fuel pumped, and the funds collected will be disbursed to disadvantaged children across the country via six charitable organisations.<\/p>\n

Shell will also be releasing a series of videos called #StationStories over the next two months, featuring some of its customers who share their personal stories and experiences.\u00a0Shell will also be hosting a gala dinner on August 10 for its partners across the industry, followed by Heritage Trail<\/i>, a nationwide treasure hunt in September 2016.<\/p>\n
