Perhaps it is because you are a woman.<\/p>\n<p>Before we move on, I want to make things clear and\u00a0say;\u00a0women needing more sleep has nothing to do with me being a sexist, which I am\u00a0not. As a matter of fact, this statement has been backed by a study carried out by Loughborough University in the U.K.<\/p>\n<p>According to the research, women do need to sleep 20 minutes longer than men. Here are Some Tips to Beat It!<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Professor Jim Horne, the Director of Loughborough University&#8217;s Sleep Research Centre explained, \u201cFor women, poor sleep is strongly associated with high levels of psychological distress and greater feelings of hostility, depression and anger.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>He continued, \u201cIn contrast, these feelings were not associated with the same degree of sleep disruption in men.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Horne also mentioned that women tend to face more health issues from lack of sleep than man are called upon to carry out more complicated tasks on a daily basis.<\/p>\n<p>Other than that, women tend to multitask more often and use their brains more strenuously.
