After a tense few rounds of audition in\u00a0Kuala Lumpur, Penang and Miri, Asia New Star Model Contest has finally finalized\u00a0the Top 30\u00a0models that will compete\u00a0for the title of\u00a0“Face of Malaysia 2016”.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Top 30 finalists have to survive\u00a0through five rounds of elimination based on\u00a0their performances\u00a0during the designated fashion shoot every\u00a0week, in order to qualify themselves a ticket to the Grand Finale which will be held at Pavilion on April 18,\u00a0<\/span>2016. Two\u00a0winners from the respective male and female categories will be selected at the Grand Finale and they will represent Malaysia to compete with\u00a0models from 20 other Asian\u00a0countries in the “Asia New Star Model Contest” in Korea.<\/span><\/p>\n

The 30 finalists with the age range from\u00a0<\/em>18 to 30\u00a0<\/em>are mostly from\u00a0Kuala Lumpur and only a few of them from other part of Malaysia. They\u00a0are required to attend workshops with regards to skin care, hair care, hair styling and make up, as well as fitness classes and also catwalk classes throughout the contest period. Prior to the grand finale, they will be given\u00a0different challenges during the photo shoots, two male and two female models with the least satisfactory performances will be eliminated in\u00a0each round.<\/p>\n

Asia New Star Model Contest is one of the\u00a0<\/strong>key events of the\u00a0Asia Model Festival (AMF)<\/strong> organised by Korea Model Association (KMA) which will be ushering its 11th year this year. The other two highlights of AMF are\u00a0the \u2018Asia Beauty Festival\u2019 to promote the Asian Model, fashion, beauty and other related industries, and the \u2018Asia Model Awards\u2019 to acknowledge those\u00a0who\u00a0show stellar achievement and excellence in the industry\u00a0related to fashion and beauty.<\/p>\n

AMF will be held tentatively on May 19\u00a0to 21,\u00a02016 at SUWON CITY in conjunction with the promotion of tourism by Korea Tourism Organization, with a fascinating\u00a0line-up of programs including fashion shows, K-POP performances and other interesting activities. Aside from showcasing\u00a0top models from 18 Asia countries, famous stars and celebrities, designers, builders\u00a0will also be\u00a0invited to the award ceremony.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
