Then, press the serum onto your face, use the palm of your hands (not your finger tips) starting at your nose and working outward\u2014never, ever rub. This ensures that all those beneficial ingredients really sink in, rather than just being smeared around.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Wait three to five minutes for the serum to fully penetrate, <\/strong>then move on to the next step.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Here&#8217;s another tip &#8211; apply it to damp skin.\u00a0<\/strong>Some say that moist skin is 10 times more permeable than dry skin, so apply serum to damp skin after cleansing or mist skin with an alcohol-free toner for quick, deep absorption. Press serum into skin with an open palm instead of fingertips to release active ingredients.<\/p>\n<p>The best kind of serums are those that absorb quickly into your skin and don&#8217;t leave an oily residue.
