The new Spring\/Summer 2022 version of Levi\u2019s RED takes inspiration from the original 2007 collection, making it not only a reinterpretation of classic Levi\u2019s\u00ae, but a sustainable reengineering of the classic Levi\u2019s RED.\u00a0The collection features a mix of artful irregularities, including asymmetric arcuate on the back pockets of the jeans, special stitching details on the fly, irregular shaped back pockets and front pocket scoops, offset center back belt loops, and flattened rivets and tabs.<\/p>\n

The Levi\u2019s RED collection pieces are made with natural dyes, sustainable fabrics, and water-saving techniques. The garments were also constructed from organically grown cotton, recycled nylon and responsible down, where the goal is to wear them in more ways than one. Whilst some are crafted 100% recycled nylon, others are specially made with down certified by the Responsible Down Standard, which ensures strict animal welfare standards have been met.<\/p>\n

This season\u2019s denim fits include the 502<\/em>\u00a0and a High Rise Boyfriend<\/em> and High Loose Cuffed jean<\/em> for women. There\u2019s also the Lunar New Year special edition Gold Selvedge jean<\/em> for men and women, made from selvedge denim that features gold stitching on the inside selvedge seam. Another sustainable feature of Levi\u2019s RED denim is the introduction of natural indigo dye made from the woad plant. It\u2019s a cleaner version of indigo that uses less water and chemicals, and features a lighter indigo hue that will develop a beautiful fade over time.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

As for denim tops, the collection includes a range of Truckers, jackets, and shirts for both men and women, including the Cinchback Trucker,<\/em> which is based off of a baggy 90s fit from the classic Levi\u2019s Red Tab women\u2019s line and features leather toggles on the pockets. Beyond denim there\u2019s the Loose Taper Trouser<\/em> for men, a khaki cotton twill trouser featuring a single pleat on the front inspired by pleated trousers from the original 2007 collection, and for women, there\u2019s the High Loose Flare <\/em>and the Utility Overall<\/em>, all made from the same khaki cotton twill fabric which features a natural dye.<\/p>\n

The new Levi\u2019s RED collection also features a range of tees with graphics including a striped tee with a left front Levi\u2019s Batwing logo in irregular stitching, and a special Lunar New Year tee with graphic in gold foil. And while men\u2019s tees and tops are mostly in a relaxed fit, women get a range of both relaxed and oversized fits.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Ranging between RM99 to RM699, the Levi\u2019s RED collection will be available for purchase via levi.com.my<\/a> and in Levi\u2019s stores nationwide from 17 December 2021 onwards.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
