The Body Shop Marks 50 Years of Purpose with RM63,267 Community Contribution

Five decades since its founding in 1976, The Body Shop commemorates its golden milestone not with grandeur alone, but with meaningful action. In front of its boutique at Suria KLCC, the brand hosted a heartfelt cheque presentation ceremony honouring three longstanding NGO partners: Tenaganita, Yayasan Chow Kit, and Hopes Malaysia.

The contributions, amounting to RM63,267, were raised through the brand’s Gifts for Good initiative under the Wrapped in Love Holiday 2025 campaign, where every RM100 spent in-store channelled RM1 to a charity partner of choice.

Mina Cheah, Managing Director of InNature Berhad

Leading the presentation was Mina Cheah, Managing Director of InNature Berhad and Malaysian franchise owner of the brand, alongside representatives from each organisation. The enduring partnerships reflect shared values rooted in advocacy, protection, and community upliftment.

“Business can be a force for good,” Cheah affirmed, underscoring a belief that has long defined the brand’s global ethos.

As it celebrates 50 years, The Body Shop continues to demonstrate that purpose-driven retail is not merely a philosophy — it is an enduring commitment to people, communities, and the planet.
