Singapore’s very own European-style Christmas extravaganza is back for its fifth edition. Be mesmerized by the mind-blowing illusions of ‘2018 America’s Got Talent’ Rob Lake, experience snow in the tropic and skate under the stars. CHRISTMAS ON A GREAT STREET

Lots of Santas, food trucks, rides, and games at Orchard Road’s Christmas light-up 2019. This year’s dress-up, running from Nov 16 to Jan 1, is themed ‘The Greatest Gift’, with rotund Santa icons and three Christmas villages where revelers can play, eat and make merry. New to this year’s street decorations is a welcome arch framing the junction of Tanglin and Grange Road. The dress-up is also extended towards Grange Road and Orchard Link for the first time in the event’s 36-year history.

SING ALONG WITH SINGAPORE’S PRINCE OF MANDOPOP, JJ LIN

The very talented Singaporean singer, JJ Lin is returning to Singapore for a concert, playing his first National Stadium show on December 21. The Sanctuary 2.0 World Tour marks his return since his four record-breaking sold-out shows at the Singapore Indoor Stadium in August last year.

Bigger and better, this enhanced version of last year’s Sanctuary World Tour takes the indoor concert outdoors. Alongside stunning lighting and visual effects, the new stage is designed with two moving extensions, bridging the superstar closer to fans. Expect abstract costumes and set designs that are bound to elevate the overall show experience.

THE GREAT CHRISTMAS VILLAGE 

This Christmas, step right into the spirit of the festive season at The Great Christmas Village across 3 locations at *SCAPE, Grange Road Car Park and Shaw House Urban Plaza. The Great Christmas Village runs from 23 November – 26 December 2019 and features more than 30 amusement rides and game booths, up from four previously. The Great Christmas Villages at *SCAPE and Shaw House Urban Plaza will host family-friendly rides whereas teenagers and young adults can enjoy thrilling rides at Grange Road Car Park.

New this year to the Great Christmas Village are also two thematic pop-ups. Nom Nom Nom will present street food from 14 vendors in food trucks that will be rotating between the Great Christmas Villages at *SCAPE and Shaw House Urban Plaza. Visitors can also dive into a world of Hasbro toys at Mini TOYBOX, which will feature popular brands such as NERF, My Little Pony and MONOPOLY. There will be nightly performances at the Great Christmas Village at *SCAPE by singers such as Estelle Fly, Shye and Charlene Su leading up to the Christmas Eve Countdown Concert at the Great Christmas Village.
