You never have to ask me twice when it comes to an invitation for fresh seafood. The crustaceans family has always been a fond delicacy of many here in Malaysia, and let’s not get started on the amazing different ways we can find crab cooked – black pepper, chili, salty egg! Mouth watering goodness.

Of late though, their relative, the lobster seems to be catching on in KL and though we often associate lobsters with exuberant prices, a few eateries have recently popped up in KL that serve fresh lobster at affordable prices. By affordable, we mean they are still in the one-hundred range, but that beats paying for lobster at three-hundred ringgit.

Here are 6 restaurants in KL with recommended lobster dishes

1. Pince & Pints Restaurant and Bar, Jalan Telawi 5, Bangsar

Their menu carries only 5 dishes, but every single one is lobster based. Prices start from RM158++ and you get to enjoy one whole lobster in any of the dishes you pick. Known for their famous Lobster Roll, you can also try their unique dish exclusive to the KL outlet – the Lobster Noodles. It takes an asian twist with the lobster stir-friend with scallions and ginger over a bed of egg noodles. They are open at 5.30pm on weekdays for dinner, and on weekends and public holidays from 11.30am onwards.
