This holiday season, LaLaport BBCC proves that celebrations are always better with a touch of nostalgia, a dash of adventure, and a whole lot of Pikachu. With the launch of LaLaport Pokémon Happy Holidays, the mall transforms into a vibrant playground where families, fans, and holiday shoppers can immerse themselves in the world of Pokémon magic—right in the heart of Kuala Lumpur.
For the first time, LaLaport BBCC partners with The Pokémon Company to deliver a festive experience that feels straight out of an animated dream. “As a lifestyle destination with strong Japanese DNA, we strive to offer unique and memorable experiences,” shared LaLaport BBCC Operations General Manager, Mr. Hiroaki Kazume. “We’re excited to bring this exclusive collaboration to Malaysia and create joyful moments for all visitors.”

The iconic yellow mascot takes centre stage throughout the five-week campaign. Weekends are now booked with Pikachu’s charming Meet-and-Greet sessions and spontaneous Walkabout appearances—moments that end with children squealing, adults grinning, and cameras clicking in every direction.
Shoppers craving a little adventure can take on the Pokémon Sticker Collection quest. Every week, eight unique stickers are hidden across participating stores, encouraging visitors to explore the mall while collecting all 40 designs throughout the campaign.

A minimum spend of RM10 unlocks the official sticker booklet—your golden ticket to weeks of lighthearted fun. A full set even earns collectors a limited-edition sticker reward. And for fans who want something extra, Pokémon merchandise purchases at the Main Atrium come with a postcard that can be stamped at dedicated stations scattered around the mall.
It’s part scavenger hunt, part photo expedition, and entirely delightful.

Gaming fans are treated to free Pokémon Trading Card Game tutorials—perfect for beginners looking to learn new strategies or seasoned players hoping to sharpen their game.
Digital adventurers can test-drive the Nintendo Switch 2: Pokémon Legends – Z-A demo, offering hands-on excitement that keeps the energy high throughout the campaign.
Holiday shoppers will find themed retail pop-ups loaded with official Pokémon collectibles and seasonal goodies. As night falls, the mall’s WoW Plaza comes alive with a dazzling Pokémon-themed Christmas tree light show, complete with playful visual effects exclusive to LaLaport BBCC.

Adding to the excitement, the mall hosted its first-ever Black Friday Late Night Sale, where doors stayed open until midnight from 28–30 November. Shoppers who spent RM500 and above took home special Pokémon merchandise such as a tumbler, lanyard set, or travel bag—perfect for gifting or treasuring.
LaLaport BBCC’s evolution continues beyond the festive season. With the launch of its new ACG BASE pop-culture precinct, the arrival of Mitsui Outlet Park BBCC—the first city outlet in Malaysia—and the opening of the energetic Molly Fantasy, the mall cements its position as a rising lifestyle and entertainment hub. More enhancements are already underway for 2026, promising even bigger and brighter experiences ahead.
