In celebration of the release of Solo: A Star Wars Story, the Star Wars Malaysia Fan Club (SWMFC) organised a special fan day called “Flying With Solo” at The School Jaya One recently.

Supported by Carousell, the Exclusive Marketplace Platform, over 500 Star Wars fans of all ages attended to share in the fun. Carousell, the Exclusive Marketplace Platform for the event, with over 24,700 Star Wars items listed on its app, expects to become an avenue for fans to trade with collectors of Star Wars merchandise right at their fingertips.

“After the success of Path to The Last Jedi in 2017, this year’s event has expanded with more fans and enthusiasts gathering at the event to share a common excitement. This is a positive result created through a collaboration between various Star Wars fan clubs and groups collectively known as the Star Wars Alliance Malaysia (SWAM). This year’s festival has reveled in the afterglow of Star Wars Episode VIII: The Last Jedi, and also served as the launch pad to the celebration of Solo: A Star Wars Story,” said Sanjiv Indran, SWMFC President.
