Experience a New Dawn with a Vibrant ‘Riuh Ria Raya’ at Sunway Pyramid

This Raya, with themed ‘Riuh Ria Raya’, Sunway Pyramid has transformed its LG2 Orange Concourse into an eye-catching set-up reminiscent of traditional balik kampung scenes so shoppers can carry out their festive preparations in style from 15th April until 8th May.

A brightly coloured kampung house sits in the middle of the concourse dressed up in vibrant hues of pink, turquoise, blue and yellow to evoke feelings of excitement, joy and celebration. Flora and fauna also dot the concourse in similar colours, further adding to the cheerful atmosphere.

Sunway Pyramid has also collaborated with celebrated graffiti artist, Abdulrashade, whose artworks and murals can be found throughout the concourse. This collaboration extends to a partnership with Peugeot for an interactive corner, as well as the designs for the mall’s raya packets.

The Penang-born artist’s artwork is incorporated onto a full body wrap for the brand-new Peugeot 2008 that also serves as an interactive augmented reality (AR) experience. The butterfly on the car comes to life through AR, and shoppers can witness the art piece of butterflies and orchids that represents the unification of relationships, life and growth.

The artist’s masterpieces are also featured on the mall’s duit raya packets that centre around a floral motif, which can be redeemed by shoppers who spend a minimum amount of RM250 in two receipts the mall (RM150 for HSBC credit cardholders). Shoppers who spend RM500 (RM400 for HSBC credit cardholders) are entitled to a RM50 Sunway eMall voucher, whilst those who spend above RM800 (RM700 for HSBC credit cardholders) can redeem a limited-edition 2-Tier Carrier by The Tiffin Company. Shoppers will be entitled to win Sunway Lagoon Annual Passes with each redemption.

Dress up in your best wear, and show it off with the Snap and Win contest using Samsung’s Single Take feature at the Samsung booth in the concourse and share them on social media with the hashtags #RiuhKatPyramid, #RiuhRiaRaya as well as #GalaxyS22 to stand a chance to win a phone from the Samsung Galaxy S22 series.

With various booths from participating tenants such as leading local fashion brand Christy Ng, Rimba and Sunway eMall booths, shoppers need not worry about missing out on essentials to brighten their festivities this year. During the entire Ramadhan month, shoppers can also choose from a variety of restaurants to break fast in with their families and loved ones, as well as unwind after a long day. From décor to food & beverage, Sunway Pyramid is a shopping haven for those looking to complete their celebrations this Raya.

For the first time ever, Sunway eMall, the one stop online shopping experience for all seven Sunway Malls will be available offline in its first shoppable space in Sunway Pyramid, as well as Sunway Velocity Mall and Sunway Putra Mall. Launched in time for the Raya campaign, shoppers can browse, scan and shop at the concourse and be rewarded with an additional gift with every purchase at the shoppable space. More than 30 items ranging from Beauty, Fashion, Home Appliances, Home & Living are available on Sunway eMall via this space. Shoppers can consolidate their orders with free delivery, as well as mix and match their redemption items.

Those who spend in the malls physically are entitled to redeem vouchers worth up to RM80 to use on Sunway eMall. For this campaign period, they can utilise special promo codes such as RIA25 to get RM25 off their purchases with a minimum spend of RM150; RIA100 to get RM100 off their purchases with a minimum spend of RM500 and RIA150 to get RM150 off their purchases with a minimum spend of RM800 – all of which entitle them to free delivery.
