We were invited to a media preview of the latest Autumn/Winter 2017 collection of THOMAS SABO held at Kuala Lumpur yesterday. Besides the new Royalty range that we have previously featured, the brand also launched a varied collection for the new season that connects two central themes of contemporary lifestyle – yearning for the faraway and love of the familiar.
In the Autumn/Winter 2017 collection of THOMAS SABO, you will find expressive avant-garde looks, filigree diamond jewellery, elegant Sterling silver essentials, strong new Rebel at heart designs and items of jewellery that can be personalised with engraving. Each design is made of 925 Sterling silver, exquisitely gold-plated or hand-embellished with decorative stones.

Being one of the bestselling collections of THOMAS SABO, the new collection features a sparkling heart and a ring engraved with ‘Together’ merge into an inseparable unit – also available in an exclusive Fine Jewellery version with faceted diamonds and 9k rose gold.
Essentials
This feminine Glam and Soul collection offers a large selection of graphic jewellery designs that make clear statements in back-to-basics style. With the focus on essentials, the range includes classic silver, rose gold plated jewellery with minimalist accents of delicate faceted diamonds.
Royalty
The Royalty range is an artistic interpretation of the Victorian era, with exceptional individual styling, and conceived with modern-day trend-setters in mind. For an antique Victorian look, old stone setting techniques with vintage line structures are used. Adorned with filigree stones, the jewellery item enchants thanks to its royal look. Colourful combinations of glass-ceramic and synthetic stones are inspired by classic crown jewels.
Mini Chakras
A representation of the main centres of physical energy of Hinduism. Each of the 7 chakras stands for a different energy centre in the body and symbolises various stages of a lotus flower. Each chakra is allocated a certain colour. Rebel at heart
This year, THOMAS SABO celebrates 10 years of its signature collection Rebel at heart: The highlights of the collection now available enchant with contrasts of blackened 925 Sterling silver and carefully selected stones, in addition to iconic details, and the masculine aesthetic of the handcrafted jewellery items and watches. In conjunction with its 10th anniversary celebration, THOMAS SABO reinterprets the classic icons of the collection, from the skull to the cross design, with studs, centre stones with pyramid cut stud, Maori and Fleur de Lys ornamentations.
Power Necklaces and Power Bracelets
Inspired by Buddhist Mala prayer beads, the new designs with stone beads are said to support the flow of life energy. Stretch necklaces and bracelets with oval and round stone beads made of tiger’s eye, obsidian and red imitation coral give wearer power, strength, luck and protection. A mala necklace traditionally always consists of 108 beads and a guru bead. The guru bead is mostly made of a special material or has a decoration, a tassel for example. It marks the starting and finishing point of the meditation. In addition, the mala necklace often includes what are known as marker beads, which act as a kind of compass during the meditation.
