Meerqeen, Nabil Aqil, Zamaera & Rafidah Feature in H&M’s 2023 Spring Social Media Campaign

H&M brought together iconic Malaysian personalities, including actors Meerqeen and Nabil Aqil, rapper Zamaera and fashion content creator Rafidah, for a new nationwide social media campaign for Spring 2023 collection for Hari Raya! Perfectly timed to capture the spirit of Hari Raya and to herald the arrival of Spring, this campaign is all about indulging in bold colours, textures and styles.

Tailored to the fashion-forward customer, the campaign offers a diverse range of looks that incite playfulness and self-expression. Fluid, modest styles and figure-hugging silhouettes dominate the Divided collection, inspiring the contemporary young woman to flaunt dynamic looks suitable for every festive occasion. Vivid prints and rich, inviting colours add an extra pop of fun for the bold and playful.

Notable pieces include the fitted midi dress, kaftan shirt and pants that feature zany, irregular prints in bright shades of pink, blue and green, for the young woman looking to channel her main character energy. Reflecting the fresh vibes of the spring season, the ruched orange dress is embellished with a youthful floral print for the gentle, feminine woman.

The men’s collection focuses on elevated essentials in neutral shades, featuring layer-able pieces that can be mixed and matched, allowing the stylish man to refresh his festive look for each celebration. The earth-toned shirt and drawstring pants strike the perfect balance between smart and casual, whilst the beige suit and dress pants create an immaculate, sharp look for more formal events.

H&M hosted an intimate luncheon for media and influencers at Chow Kit – an Ormond hotel last week, where were given an exclusive preview of the campaign video and images, and heard from with Meerqeen, Nabil, Zamaera and Rafidah about their favourite pieces in the collection and personal fashion go-tos.

The H&M Spring 2023 collection will be available in stores and at hm.com from March 16.
