FENDI opened a compelling new chapter during Couture Fashion Week with the unveiling of Maria Grazia Chiuri’s first-ever FENDI Couture collection for Fall/Winter 2026-27, presented alongside two landmark exhibitions celebrating the Maison’s rich artistic heritage.

Staged in Rome, the collection explored the theme of desire through fluid silhouettes, sensual drapery and couture techniques that celebrated the body rather than constrained it. Chiffon dresses, kimono-inspired tailoring and intricate artisanal details reflected Chiuri’s vision of freedom, pleasure and modern femininity, while paying tribute to Karl Lagerfeld’s enduring influence on the House.

The presentation drew an international front row that included Tang Yan, FENDI Brand Spokesperson and Chinese actress, Ko Shibasaki, Japanese actress and singer, American stars Sarah Jessica Parker, Jessica Alba, Danny Ramirez and Yara Shahidi, alongside Italian icons Monica Bellucci and Luca Marinelli.

Beyond the runway, FENDI deepened the conversation through two exhibitions. “After Steps Through Work. FENDI / Karl Lagerfeld 1985” revisits the groundbreaking 1985 museum exhibition that celebrated Lagerfeld’s revolutionary approach to fur craftsmanship, while “A Fairy Tale of the Future: Ten Years of FENDI Couture 2015–2025” traces a decade of couture excellence through creations by Karl Lagerfeld, Silvia Venturini Fendi and Kim Jones. Together, the exhibitions offer a rare glimpse into the artistry, innovation and atelier savoir-faire that continue to define FENDI today.
