GELORA – The Tarakucha Big Band Extravaganza! | Sep 6 – 8 @ The Gardens Theater at Mid Valley City

Close to 56 years after the original track “Gelora” was recorded by national icons P. Ramlee & Saloma for the film ‘Seniman Bujang Lapok’, SEAN GHAZI has released a reimagining of the well-loved song, introducing longtime collaborator IDA MARIANA, along with a brand new video directed by Tate Mario Ghazi.

‘Gelora’ is the first single outside of Sean’s debut album, SEAN GHAZI ‘SEMALAM’. The music was recorded in the United States, with vocals recorded in the US and Kuala Lumpur.
The track features a new ‘fever-esque’ arrangement by Sean’s US band—the ‘Stylo Mylos’ during his tenure in the US.

Following the launch, Sean and Ida also announced their three-day showcase performance at The Gardens Theater, Mid Valley City, on September 6, 7 and 8.
