Fenty Beauty has taken over the beauty world by storm ever since its release last month and their products flew off Sephora shelves with no signs of restocks ever since. So we have to hop on the bandwagon and try out their products, especially the much-raved about Pro Filt’r Soft Matte Longwear Foundation, Match Stixs, and Killawatt Freestyle Highlighters.

Our evangelist, Ren created a look around the Match Stixs and especially the Killawatt Freestyle Highlighter in Trophy Wife because we want to show that fair-skinned folks can rock this gold glitter bomb shade!
Here’s a breakdown of the Fenty Beauty products we used in our tutorial and our thoughts.
1. Pro Filt’r Soft Matte Longwear Foundation in 120 Light Neutral, RM145
One out of the 40 foundation shades, so we picked the shade with the neutral undertone since the foundation tends to oxidize quickly, turning slightly darker so remember to go a shade lighter than your skin tone to get the right finish. The foundation applied like a dream and didn’t end up cakey, even without setting it with powder.
2. Killawatt Freestyle Highlighter in Trophy Wife, RM145
One of the stand-out products from the range and is one of Rihanna’s favourite as well. This very pigmented glittery yellow gold highlight applies easily and makes a good eyeshadow highlight. But as a cheek highlight, just lightly tap and brush on the cheekbones so that the yellowness is not too obvious.
3. Killawatt Freestyle Highlighter in Metal Moon, RM145
For a more glow from within highlight, Metal Moon is your best bet especially if you have fair skin. Though it looks stark white, once blended it gives a muted gold glow. But this shade is not as pigmented as Trophy Wife, so you have to layer it for a stronger highlight.
4. Match Stix Trio in Medium 200, RM230 – Bamboo, Mocha, Tripping, & Match Stix Shimmer Skinstick in Ridiiic, RM105
Firstly, the magnetized packaging is ingenious! Leave it to Rihanna to think about us and our bottomless makeup pouches and bags, now we can keep some products in place to make it easier to locate them.
The Match Stix Trio in Medium was just right for concealing, contouring (a brown shade with a slight grey undertone) and the highlight shade was nice peachy coral shade with gold shimmer!
The Match Stix Shimmer Skinstick in Ridiiic is amazing as an eyeshadow and personally, I have used it as a lipstick and it lasted me the whole day even after lunch as it left a stain behind which was easy to remove and reapply again.
The cream to powder lightweight formulas of these shades are creaseproof and long-lasting which is perfect for our weather!
5. Invisimatte Blotting Powder, RM130
One of our favourite products from the Fenty Beauty line is this universal blotting powder that gives you a soft, filtered look without the white cast, basically, giving you Insta-ready skin! It contains an exclusive pore-diffusing complex that absorbs shine. It won’t cake up or disturb your makeup too!
6. Gloss Bomb Universal Lip Luminizer, RM90
This rosy nude lip gloss has a sweet peachy scent to it and looks great on all skin tones! The large wand can be a bit difficult to control if you’re not careful, you might over apply it which could make your lips extra gooey. It does give your lips a very glossy with slight shimmery finish but other than that, it’s just like any normal nude lip gloss.
