For the first time ever, Kiehl’s Malaysia has partnered with 3 environmental NGOs namely WWF-Malaysia, Malaysian Nature Society and EcoKnights concurrently in support of their green initiatives. For every purchase coming from the campaign, Kiehl’s will donate RM10 to these NGOs and a total sum commitment of RM45,000 which will be split equally between the three NGOs to fund the selected conservation projects as follows:

  • ULU MUDA FRESHWATER CONSERVATION by WWF-Malaysia – to advocate for Ulu Muda to be reclassified as a Protected Area. Through this protection, Ulu Muda will be legally protected from land conversion, timber extraction, and wildlife poaching with only activities for the purpose of biodiversity conservation & ecotourism permitted.
  • HORNBILL GUARDIAN PROGRAMME by Malaysian Nature Society – a conservation concept that utilizes the local indigenous people’s or villager’s extant knowledge on hornbills in their area. By engaging them, it is hoped that a sense of pride would develop in being part of an important conservation effort and the rich biodiversity supported by the forests they live in.
  • TRESS 4-US by EcoKnights – to get the community involved with their on-ground rehabilitation efforts of degraded city forest to enhance the greenery landscape of our mother earth. In partnership with the local council, more trees will be planted in urban spaces, which helps to increase the carbon sink capacity within the area.
