#PamperEats: Nobu introduce a variety of fresh new dishes to the new lunch menu

Recently, Nobu Kuala Lumpur introduces a variety of fresh new dishes to its highly sought after lunch menu. Created by Executive Chef Philip Leong, the new lunch offerings are set to elevate the city’s midday dining experience with a range of creative options for guests to savor while enjoying the spectacular panoramic view of the Kuala Lumpur skyline.

The ‘Noon at Nobu’ lunch menu comprises a variety of decadent meals and combinations such as the Nobu style set lunch, pre-fixe menu, bento box, cold & hot dishes, soups & noodles, desserts and more.

Pre-Fixe Menu (Served with Miso Soup & Green Tea) – RM168+

Appetizer

Main Course

Dessert

We like Pre-Fixe set the most as we could choose a lot of dishes from the set. As for appetizer, we like Butter Lettuce Salad Dry Miso the most as it was really appetizing, perfect to prepare yourself for the next dishes. For the main course, although the Grilled Chicken Truffle Teriyaki looks plain, however, it tastes really delicious! Food with truffle is the best, isn’t it? For a spicy kick, you may also choose Shrimp with Spicy Garlic as the portion is huge yet it comes with vegetables.

We can’t choose which desserts we like the most as all of them are very unique. Banana Harumaki is suitable for people who like to eat a banana while the passion fruit complement really well with the banana. For non-muslims, go for Japanese Whisky Cappuccino! Trust us, it is one of a kind dessert that leaves you wanting more. You may opt for Chocolate Sata Andagi if you are a chocolate lover. It is a deep-fried chocolate donut ball with Pandan ice cream and caramelized Pistachio, blend all together and you’ll taste the heaven!

Bento Box (Served with Miso Soup) – RM175+

Guests can also opt for the Nobu style bento box which encompasses signature Nobu dishes such as the refreshing Sashimi Salad with Matsuhisa Dressing, fresh Assorted Sushi, crispy Rock Shrimp Tempura with Butter Ponzu, the Nobu signature Black Cod Miso and the aromatic Vegetable Spicy Garlic with Rice. We love the Nobu signature Black Cod Miso as it was perfectly cooked with the right amount of saltiness by the Miso. We recommend this bento box for those who prefer to taste more variety of food from Nobu.

Set Lunch (Served with Miso Soup, Salad, Tempura, Nobu Biscuits & Green Tea) – RM58+ to RM145+

Featuring the freshest ingredients and Nobu’s signature Japanese touch and Peruvian influences, the lunch menu welcomes the succulent Lobster Wasabi Pepper set and Cauliflower Steak with Corn Salsa set for guests who prefer seafood or vegetarian fare while lovers of red meat can dine on the tender Beef Tenderloin set and luxurious Dry Age Prime Rib Eye set. The Cauliflower Steak with Corn Salsa is one of the best vegetarian food that is refreshing yet tantalizing. While the Lobster Wasabi Pepper will surely be loved by Wasabi lover as the Wasabi and Pepper flavour is strong yet we could taste the freshness of the Lobster.

Donburi (Served with Miso Soup & Salad) – RM40+ to RM120+

We tried the Wagyu Short Rib Teriyaki Donburi and it tastes really good. The Wagyu beef is really tender while the Teriyaki taste was just right. Best paired with the soft boiled egg and Japanese rice. Highly recommended!
