Cyberjaya isn’t a city most people would have thought of exploring for food. However a reader of Pamper. My recently recommended Harvest Food & Coffee and assured it would be good.

It never crossed our mind that in the middle of world technology hub lies such a wonderful homely restaurant and possibly one of the better dining options in Cyberjaya.

harvest-food-coffee-(3)“Handmade furniture, homemade food”, that’s the promise from Poriya, the owner of Harvest Coffee and Food. The restaurant is comfortable and full of warmth. There’s a homely vibe to the place, perhaps because of the vintage interior designs and cozy sofas.

The menu at Harvest is large. It has a variety of meals from salads, pizzas, burgers, pastas, sandwiches, so there’s something for everyone. There were two of us and we sampled a couple of items from the menu.

Topped with grilled chicken, pepperoni, salami, sausage, mozzarella, and cheddar cheese, the pizza is yummy and it doesn’t give you the stuffed feeling that comes with a thick, cheesy pizza.

harvest-food-coffee-(6)Feeling hungry and craving for more carbs, we moved forward to try out their Harvest Sandwich (RM25), a hearty American inspired sandwich of assorted meat cuts and vegetables. Quite decent, though we prefer the dressing to be olive oil or any other healthy alternatives but not mayonnaise.

harvest-food-coffee-(7)For those who enjoy eating breakfast food, Full Harvest Breakfast (RM15) is one of the must-try items which has a nice balance between egg, salami, bread, and salads. The egg was nicely-cooked, but we felt the meal could be improved by replacing the hotdogs with chicken sausages.

harvest-food-coffee-(8)To accompany all this food we sipped the California Sunshine milkshake (RM15) and Blueberry Mojito (RM12). Harvest also serves a number of coffee but we didn’t order as caffeine tend to disrupt our sleep for most of the night.

Verdict

On the whole, the food was alright. The service is friendly and pleasant but slightly slow. It’s also a great place to chill and hang out with friends.
