Buka Puasa Buffet at Lemon Garden, Shangri-La Hotel KL | May 27 – June 24

This festive season, the culinary team at Lemon Garden, Shangri-La Hotel, Kuala Lumpur has carefully put together a wondrous buffet menu dinner buffet featuring the best of authentic Malaysian and international cuisine between 7pm to 10.30pm from May 27 to June 24, 2017.

The festive dinner will have a live action corner with a barbeque pit at the terrace serving an array of sumptuous delights such as Iranian Kubbiedeh (Charcoal Grill Minced Lamb), Shish Tawouk (Charcoal Grilled Chicken Cubes), Iranian Tikka Mastih (Charcoal Grilled Beef), Barbecued Chicken Wings, Fresh Water Prawns, Grilled Oysters, Scallops and more.

1. Malaysian specialities served at Lemon Garden during the Festive Buffet

The Carving Corner will feature a whole succulent roast lamb cooked to perfection with herbs and spices. There will also be a night market stall serving ‘Lemang Pulut’, ‘Lemang Pulut Hitam’, ‘Ketupat Palas’, ‘Serunding Ayam, Daging and Ikan’. An assortment of fresh seafood such as Freshly Shucked Oysters, Steamed Tiger Prawns, Green Lips Mussels, Yabbies and Baby Scallops will also be served at the Seafood Station.

The Malay theatre kitchen will feature flavourful main dishes such as ‘Ikan Singgang Pedas dengan Keladi (Spicy Tamarind Fish Stew with Basil Leaves and Yam)’ ‘Udang Masak Sambal dengan Kacang Buncis (Tiger Prawns with Chilli Paste and French Beans)’, ‘Rendang Pipi Lembu (Braised Beef Cheeks with Malay Herbs and Dried Coconut Paste)’, ‘Sotong Masak Kari Kering(Squid Cooked in Curry Sauce)’, ‘Ayam Masak Biryani (Chicken with Biryani Spices, Tomato and Coriander)’ and more.

Chicken, Beef and Lamb Satay will also be served along with Lamb Soup with Vegetables and Potatoes. Other specialities on the menu include Malay Pickles, ‘Keropok Lekor’ (Fish Crackers) and Malaysian dips. The cold appetisers on the buffet menu include ‘Sambal Goreng Buah Jering dengan Ikan Bilis’, ‘Kerabu Taugeh dengan Ikan Masin’, ‘Ikan Masin Bercili’, and more.

The Dessert Pavilion will be featuring an array of desserts such as ‘Ice Kacang with Condiments’, Deep Fried Cempedak, Apam Balik, Durian Cake, Onde Onde Cakes, Tropical Tiramisu, Coconut Raisin Tarts and more.

The Festive Dinner Buffet is priced at RM 198 nett per person from Sunday to Thursday and The Festive Seafood Dinner Buffet is priced at RM 218 nett per person from Friday to Saturday. Hari Raya Hampers & Cakes

There are also two types of Hari Raya hampers available at Lemon Garden 2Go:

  • The premium hamper – priced at RM 988nett consists of a 500g Hari Raya cake, homemade chocolate pralines, apple vinegar, premium tea and dates, beef ‘serunding’, baklavas, fruit jam, crunchy cookies, assorted nuts, ‘dodol’, ‘pandan’ layer cake, macarons and pomegranate juice; and
  • The deluxe hamper – priced at RM 688nett includes a 500g Hari Raya Cake, homemade chocolate pralines, apple vinegar, premium tea and dates, ‘ketupat’ cookies, ‘dodol’, macarons and assorted nuts.

A selection of three Hari Raya designer cakes are also available to be purchased. The 1 kg cake is priced at RM 150 nett, the 3kg cake is priced at RM 280 nett and the 5kg cake is priced at RM 480 nett. The other festive items available are fruit cakes, layer cakes in ‘pandan’, mocha, durian and traditional flavours, designer cookies, cupcakes and more. The price for these treats range from RM 12 for a box of designer cupcakes to RM 100 for a box of homemade macarons.
