Langkawi, Penang and Port Dickson are the top searched destinations that Malaysian travellers are interested in for this year’s Hari Raya season. These three destinations are known for their beaches and family-friendly resorts, perfect for a family retreat. Penang is also popular for its rich food and cultural offerings.

Johor Bahru is experiencing the highest surge in traveller’s interest for this year’s Hari Raya season, followed by Kuala Lumpur and Port Dickson.

While Kuala Lumpur is typically empty during Hari Raya due to the balik kampung exodus, there is a significant increase in the search volume for KL’s hotels for this year’s Hari Raya season. Singapore is experiencing the highest surge in traveller’s interest for this year’s Hari Raya season, with a one-fold increase in the search volume, followed by Hat Yai and Phuket.
