The multi-Grammy Award-winning singer-songwriter Usher will be taking on the 2016 Formula One Malaysia Grand Prix post-race concert stage.

“This year, we are pleased to bring fans a magnetic performance by one of the best-selling artistes in American music history,” said Sepang International Circuit (SIC) Chief Executive Officer Dato’ Razlan Razali in an official statement.

On top of that, Formula One fans can look forward to an exciting line-up of activities and new experiences in conjunction with the upcoming 2016 Formula 1 PETRONAS Malaysia Grand Prix – themed Experience Redef1ned which takes place from September 30 to October 10, slotted directly after Formula One Singapore Grand Prix.

Some of the fun activities including live viewing sessions of Formula One races complete with contests and a 50% discount on tickets. New this year is a special Formula One Tour that allows fans to get up close to a Formula One car. It travels from Singapore right after the Formula One Singapore Grand Prix with pit stops in Johor, Melaka, Seremban and Kuala Lumpur, giving the public the opportunity to learn and experience the wonders behind Formula One racing. Other not-to-be missed race week activities are the City Meet and Greet and Formula One City Parties.

Sepang will also be hosting both the GP2 and GP3 – feeder series for the Formula One, in conjunction with the Formula One PETRONAS Malaysia Grand Prix. Our very own racers, Nabil Jeffri, 22, and Akash Neil Nandy, 19, will be participating in the 2016 GP2 and GP3 seasons, respectively.

Ticket prices range from RM169.60 – with tickets ranging from RM360.40 to RM1,876.20 for seats in the Main Grandstand, RM466.40 for the Tower, RM296.80 and RM699.60 for Grandstands F and K1 respectively, and RM169.60 for the C2 Hillstand. Star Stand tickets are available at RM183.38.

Child tickets for children aged 7 to 12 are available with up to 50% price reduction, while disabled* spectators can also purchase tickets at 50% off for accessible seating zones. The public can also pre-purchase F&B package options for RM26.50 for extra convenience during the race weekend.
