The Wedding KL 2018: Bridal Collection By Nurita Harith, Rizman Ruzaini and More

Back for the third year running, The Wedding KL 2018 kicked off from 12th until 14th January 2018 to showcase the latest bridal collections from some of the most notable Malaysian and Singaporean designers.

The prestigious three-day event took place at the majestic Mandarin Oriental Hotel with Aina Syahirah and Julie Anne, co-founders of Kulet – a made-in-Malaysia footwear brand – as Official Social Media Influencers.

A moving force to catapult the bridal fashion in Malaysia’s creative industry, The Wedding KL not only gives the brides-to-be out there a dose of inspiration for their big day but also provide a platform for bridal retailers and established brands to grow their business.

Fatimah Mohsin

We dare say that there’s something for every bride from Fatimah Mohsin’s bridal lineup. From peplum songket to modern anarkali to strapless bodice with semi-sweetheart neckline, Mohsin’s versatility in putting out a wedding gown decked in cultural nuances deserves some recognition. The kind of drama that we dig.

Carven Ong

Ethereal meets romantic. Carven Ong’s fairy garden is a dreamscape of whimsical wonderland where soft, pastel organdie and ruffled tulle are given a touch of elegance. There’s lace and 3-D flower appliqué but not too much that it’s overdone – just enough for the fairy-like elements to stand out in its glorious fantasy.

Nurita Harith

If there’s something that Nurita Harith can do right, it’s undoubtedly her ability to sculpt a woman’s curves in the most elegant, modest way possible. One of the most sought-after designers when it comes to wedding gowns, Nurita played with fine lace and intricate beadwork, perfecting the fit-and-flare formula that has long been her signature.

Rizman Ruzaini

As always, Rizman Ruzaini doesn’t disappoint with their wedding offering. Tailoring is impeccable, designs are neat and sleek, a little bit of feathers here and there and specks of silver to break the whites. It’s classy, it’s romantic and we’re sure it’s everything that most girls dream of.
