Uniqlo Join Hands with Ines de la Fressange for a Spring/Summer 2017 Line

Uniqlo has just announced that they will be releasing the 2017 Spring/Summer collection with French fashion icon Ines De La Fressange collection.

This collection, designed by Ines with her characteristic affection for spontaneity and living in the moment, gives a sense of freedom and a touch of nostalgia.

The Uniqlo x Inès de la Fressange SS17 consists of 68-item, hails its inspiration from Marseille, a port city in the south of France that has flourished for centuries as a trading center. Items in the collection evoke the beautiful scenery and sunny weather, light sea breezes, and diverse cultures that make the city the vibrant and seductive Marseille that makes for gorgeous settings in motion pictures, such as Borsalino.

Ines’ signature indigo celebrates the coastal waters of Marseille in everything from the lineup’s outerwear to shirts, jackets, pants, skirts and dresses, with on-trend berry accents underscoring vitality. The design palette includes floral prints and elegant dot patterns.

The first phase which releases at January 27 include satin stadium jackets, blouson shirts and other spring outerwear, as well as sporty polo shirts and macramé mesh knits for summer. Linen shirts, camisoles, and dresses will be released from early March. New additions to the range will be apron wrap dresses, tricolor espadrilles and lounge wear.

The first phase of the collection will be available from January 27 at select Uniqlo stores and online.
