Swiss luxury timepiece company Jaeger-LeCoultre is the sponsor of the San Sebastian Film Festival for the fifth year in a row.

This year, the Grande Maison is strengthening its relationship with the festival by presenting the “Jaeger-LeCoultre Latin Cinema” award to an important Latin American filmmaker. This inaugural edition of the award was given to the actor, director and film producer Gael García Bernal.

Jaeger-LeCoultre International Communication Executive Director, Laurent Vinay, presented the award and a unique personalized reverso watch during a glamorous gala.

Personalities such as Carolina Adriana Herrera, godmother of the Aladina Foundation, Paco Arango, as well as the casting of “Neruda” movie attended the ceremony.

After the award ceremony, the latest movie from Pablo Larraín, part of the Pearls section and starring Gael García Bernal, “Neruda” was presented.

Jaeger-LeCoultre reinforce also, its collaboration with the Aladina Foundation and present the charity project “Un achuchón por la UCI del Niño Jesús”.

This time Jaeger-LeCoultre and Aladina have an exceptional godmother presenting the collaboration, related to the film world through her production company, Carolina Adriana Herrera.

Paco Arango, director and president of the foundation and Esther, one of the girls benefiting from the actions of the Foundation, also attended the ceremony.
