adidas is partnering up with preservation organisation – Parley for the Oceans for the second time to release their first performance tee made from Parley Ocean Plastic.
The performance tee which is called The TERREX Parley Logo Tee contains Parley Ocean Plastic® fibre and recycled polyester, offering excellent performance qualities for outdoor athletes. Due to its gusset construction under the arm, the tee allows full freedom of movement when climbing, running or biking in the mountains. The hydrophilic finish wicks moisture away from the skin, ensuring great wearing comfort.
“We like the fact that there is an interesting story behind this T-shirt – Parley for the Oceans and adidas address the pollution of the seas which is a major problem,” said the member of the expert panel.
“So much work has happened behind the scenes since we launched our partnership with adidas. We are creating new standards, new materials and technologies that are so different to those the sporting goods industry is used to,” says Cyrill Gutsch, Founder of Parley for the Oceans.
