It looks like one of Hollywood’s young IT couples Gigi Hadid and Zayn Malik have called it quits. After more than two years together, both Gigi and Zayn have confirmed that they are no longer an item through individual statements on Twitter.
The former One Direction member told fans that what he had with the model was an “incredibly meaningful, loving and fun relationship” and despite their split, he still has “a huge amount of respect and adoration for Gigi as a woman and a friend”.

Minutes later, Gigi took to her own Twitter to share her side of the story, stating: “I’m grateful for the love, time, and life lessons that Z and I shared. I want nothing but the best for him and will continue to support him as a friend that I have immense respect and love for”.

The break-up rumour surfaced earlier today when fans noticed that Zayn unfollowed both Gigi and her mother Yolanda Hadid on Instagram. The couple first started dating in November 2015 after Zayn approached Gigi at Victoria’s Secret after-party in New York.
