British Airways announces a “Bake-Away with British Airways” competition to mark its first anniversary of resumption of direct flights to Kuala Lumpur. The winner will be awarded two return tickets to London with British Airways.

Entries must incorporate Malaysian and British themes and demonstrate the connection between the UK and Malaysia. Interested parties can email a photo of their intended entry to bakeaway@quattro.com.my, and in 25 words explain “Why I should be the finalist at the Bake-Away with British Airways competition”.  The competition entries will close on Tuesday, May 24.

“We would like to invite people from Malaysia to bring together their imagination to celebrate with us on this very special occasion. It is a delight to mark our first anniversary in such an interesting way. We look forward to seeing a lot of creative and delicious baked goods created by our contestants,” said Vivian Tan-Loh, British Airways’ country manager for Malaysia.

12 finalists will take part in the final “Bake-Away” at the Starhill Culinary Studio on Thursday, June 2nd. Following the competition, the judging and prize presentation will be held at Newens Tea House in the same afternoon.
