Reigning Miss Universe 2017 Demi-Leigh Nel-Peters was in Kuala Lumpur last Sunday to make an appearance with new skincare brand, MUCA in Hotel Majestic Kuala Lumpur. Demi-Leigh flew in to Kuala Lumpur to support the launch of MUCA before heading back to Bangkok, Thailand for the 67th MISS UNIVERSE® Competition where she will crown her successor, the new Miss Universe 2018.

23-year-old Demi-Leigh from South Africa was crowned Miss Universe in Las Vegas late last year. A Business Management degree holder, she has been living in New York during her reign, and is a passionate advocate of a programme she developed that trains women how to handle life-threatening situations, including sexual harassment, assault, and abusive relationships.
