Following the highly successful debut of the YSL Beauty Hotel event in Paris, Hong Kong and the most recent one in New York, YSL Beauty Hotel was opened for business in Malaysia for one day only on 22nd September 2018 at a heritage building in the heart of Kuala Lumpur.
Housed at 2, Jalan Hang Kasturi, YSL Beauty Hotel is an ephemeral beauty hotel that allows guests to check-in for free (though guests first have to register via RSVP through YSL Beauty Facebook) and explore three floors of immersive pop-up. Each floor has its own interactive social moments allowing guests to discover the latest arrivals from YSL Beauty.
First things first, guest have to check in at the Ground Floor with a dedicated QR Code to receive their own personal YSL Beauty Hotel Card to enjoy the numerous activities including classic arcade games, makeup touch up counters and Instagram worthy spots.
Guests can then make their way down to the Basement where they can experience the glitz and glam of the runway through their own YSL Beauty’s Rouge Pur Couture The Slim video shoot. Every hotel has its presidential suite and the YSL Beauty Hotel is no different with Room 1978 where you can have Instagram worthy pictures taken.
On the first floor, an edgy and unique experience awaits with YSL Beauty’s most celebrated fragrances, Mon Paris and Y. Guests can get their glam game on with the All Hours Beauty Bar and enjoy classic arcade games with a YSL twist! Just how no hotel is complete without its own club, guests are treated to special performances by rock band Bittersweet and household name DJ Blink & DJ Ashley.
